The KD Keepsake Bear is a handcrafted custom stuffed animal. They are approximately 18” long when they are standing. The KD Keepsake Bear is made from your loved one’s military uniform, shirt, dress, top, blue jeans, robe, jacket, or other items. The colorful glitter eyes provide an added charm and are attached with a safety washer. Every stitch is sewn with love & respect, and we hope each bear we make brings comfort and happy memories for your entire family.
KD Keepsake Bears are perfect keepsakes to help you remember a lost loved one, a little one who has outgrown their baby clothes, or a favorite item you have personally outgrown. We can work with a military uniform to commensurate a retirement or change in status, the skies the limit. KD Keepsake Bears are special enough to be your loved one’s new best friend and is designed to keep the team celebration going.
Scrap fabric will be discarded unless you request it to be returned to you. Be sure the garment you send has an adequate amount of fabric if you are not sure send at least 2 items and I will use some of each fabric. Smaller items will require more fabric so please send an adequate amount.

KD Memory Bear
How long does it take to finish the bear? Your custom-created, keepsake bear will ship to you within the time frame based on the number of items ordered. Your order typically ships within 2-4 weeks once I receive the garments. Please be mindful that this will be dependent upon our current workload. I will remain in constant communication with you, please ensure that the contact information is current.
Can a bear be made from more than one garment? Yes, they can. For example, you can have the arms and legs of the bear from one garment and the rest from another. Talk to me about what you would like done.
Can a bear be made from clothing other than shirts? Yes, if the clothing has enough fabric for the pieces I need to cut. The bears I make are larger than most, so we’ll need to ensure there is enough. If there isn’t, we can always use another garment.
Where do I send the shirts? Once purchase is made, I will send you my address to send the clothing from your loved one.
How much is shipping? Shipping is calculated at checkout. International orders, please contact me for shipping.
